Christmas Eve

Sorry I took off the slide show. It was too much to turn off the music everytime i got on here.

Christmas Eve we headed over to Lana's house for the Keil Family get-together. As usual we had way more than enough food. That almost never (always) happens!!!

After eating more than anyone should, we sang Christmas carols and got ready to enjoy the various talents of the children. Each of them sang or danced(Ashley), although that would be a loose interpretation of Blake's performance. He sang the first line of "Grandma Got Ran Over by a Reindeer" and then seemed to forget the rest. It was very entertaining. Charles and Patrick determined that over 21 yrs old you no longer had to perform for your presents.

Patrick played "Santa" and handed out the presents to everyone. There were smiles all around as gifts were received. They included Webkinz, racetracks, baby dolls, video games, money/gift cards, clothes, and on and on.

Once the gifts were all unwrapped it was time for dessert, and a little whipped cream fight started by Charles.

After some clean-up we headed home to meet Richie/Dick who came over to spend the night with us for Christmas Morning.

Bryce, Tegan, and Ally had to write some last-minute notes to "Santa" since we didn't all get to see him this year. (We just seemed to run out of time to do it all.) They set out a plate of cookies with some milk for Santa as well.

Then it was off to bed so Santa could visit.
